Food for Kids Summer Program -A free summer lunch program for school-age children in the New Lebanon School District.
This program will provide free lunches and teach character and community building to school-age children and youth (ages 6-18 and those eligible to be at New Lebanon Schools who are over 18) during the summer at the New Lebanon Branch Library. The Food for Kids program has received funding from the Ohio Department of Education and will be sponsored by the Community Action Mission Program (CAMP).

Open Enrollment Applications Available at New Lebanon Local School District

Parents of students in 5th – 12th grades may apply for open enrollment for the 2013-2014 school year. Applications will be accepted April 15, 2013 – May 31, 2013. Applications must be submitted in person at the Board Office, which is located in Dixie High School. Applications are available online at http://www.newlebanon.k12.oh.us or at the Board Office.

Approval of applications for open enrollment in 5th – 12th grades is at the discretion of the Superintendent in accordance with the district’s policies and administrative regulations. Acceptance is based on class size and program offerings. For additional information, please call the Board Office at (937) 687-1301 ext. 1.

Retire/Rehire – Tammy Broughton

PUBLIC NOTICE: The New Lebanon Local School District Board of Education hereby gives public notice in accordance with Section 3307.353 of the Ohio Revised Code that Tammy Broughton, currently employed as a middle school Intervention Specialist teacher, will be retiring and is seeking re-employment with the District in the same position following retirement. The Board of Education will hold a public meeting on the issue of Mrs. Broughton’s being re-employed in the District at 6:30 p.m. on April 22, 2013 at Dixie Elementary School’s cafetorium.
