Welcome to the website of New Lebanon Local Schools! I am pleased you are taking this opportunity to familiarize yourself with the philosophy and programs of our district.  

Thanks to a talented and dedicated professional staff, strong community support, and caring, involved parents, this school system enjoys a strong tradition of excellence and can be proud of its many outstanding accomplishments. I am excited about working with everyone to ensure successful educational experiences for our children. I realize how significant a role that public education plays in preparing young people to become leaders in a new millennium, and I do not take that role lightly.

The staff in our schools and at the Board of Education are committed to providing top quality educational programs that meet the diverse needs of all students. We enthusiastically accept the challenge to create an array of learning experiences that will raise the level of academic achievement, and enable our youth to be competitive in a rapidly changing world.

Through the generosity of our community, the district is enjoying the advantages of the new elementary school, the new high school and the renovations to the middle school. These facilities allow us to enhance instruction and advance the academic achievement of our current students and those in generations to come.
